During the course of the series, 25 episodes of The Real Housewives of Vancouver aired over two seasons. I have never seen one of these shows before, other than snippets on E or The Soup. Robin is distraught after her dreams of singing at are ruined, with the unexpected help of Mary's producer. Ronnie then tells her about Remy also being born prematurely. The series premiere introduces the wives, who include winery owner Ronnie Seterdahl Negus; self-made businesswoman Jody Claman; and recording artist Mary Zilba.
Unexpectedly, Robin and Amanda are already off to a rough start. Toronto society had the good taste to back out of participating in this type of show because the women were too smart and knew that they would become laughing stocks. There were a lot of heartfelt moments. Ronnie takes Remy horseback riding as its a highly therapeutic sport. There is an appearance from fan favourite Kevin Chase and a final show down between Reiko and Jody regarding the credit card charges. Ronnie blames Mary for her drinking. Ronnie reveals heart wrenching information about her disabled daughter Remi and Jody also gets emotional with an update on her daughter Mia.
Christina arrives late for her 30th birthday party. She also almost hit hit by Ioulia's Porsche on the way out of her parking spot! Meanwhile Christina prepares herself for her next encounter with Jody. Amanda says the tea is sweet, but on her one-on-one, Jody reveals that she found a similar brand of the tea vinegary and quite expensive. I think they were at. However, as this show is set in Vancouver, and I was born and raised there, I thought I would watch one full episode. Mary deals with her breakup. As expected, Jody was in no mood for Mary.
They are toxic and there is nothing 'real' about any part of them, especially not their teeth colour, skin colour, hair colour, boobs, or personalities. Next, we meet the final housewife,. I am appalled and saddened - who thought this was a good idea for a show? Jody renovates her building and cancels her daughter's ticket to London. Do these women not realize that they are being watched only because everyone is laughing at them - they are cartoons of femininity! Unfortunately Mary did not find the abstract nudes to her liking and left empty handed. These Vancouver women, whoever they might be nobody has ever heard of them before , are stupid and desperate.
Robin offers up her horse, Giggy- a European Warmblood, for Remy to ride. But even at this higher latitude, it's still impossible to get above the drama, and there is plenty to go around in this compulsively watchable reality series. I really want to scream in rage at whoever is in charge, I want to scream in frustration that such a show should even exist. Christina tries to recruit Mia to Team Mary even as Jody confronts Mary about spreading rumors about her store. Mary and Ronnie's friendship is laid out on the table, and the two try to find resolution or abandon each other for good. Who marries these kinds of females? The tears and anger in this episode are unmatched.
Jody and Mary's hostilities are escalated and Ronnie and Mary's friendship is called into question like never before. Amanda disagreed and said some alcoholics need more help. Mary consults her housekeeper Mary for fashion advice, and Ioulia dons 3 different outfits before letting her husband pick the third as his favourite. Over cups of coffee, they vow to be better friends to each other and even write up a contract. Meanwhile, Mary questions whether her best friend Ronnie will have her back should she be targeted by Jody again. A surprising twist occurs at a dinner, leaving Mary on the verge of giving up. Jody throws a Gay Pride Drag Queen party, which is being held at the same venue as the event Mary is attending, reincarnating their eternal battle.
It chronicles the lives of Six women — Jody Claman, Ronnie Negus, Mary Zilba, Amanda Hansen, Ioulia Reynolds, and Robin Reichman — in and around as they socialize, work on their careers and spend time with their families. She and Jody meet to discuss her line of Kombucha Tea. A secret is revealed about Mary that may never be repairable. In the second hour the drama continues as the ladies revisit the ambush of Jody at the Hawksworth Lunch and Jody tells her side of the story. Jody renovates her building and cancels her daughter's ticket to London.
Jody attacks Mary over choices in men. The ladies attend a high-class backyard party, where Ronnie falls back on the feeling that Mary isn't a good friend and Ioulia shows her tough side. Tensions become so escalated that two women walk off the set. She starts by reflecting on the first season, talking about her daughter Remington's near-death experience, and how she's since developed from that and has even stopped drinking. Robin achieves a live singing gig at an event.
